To all... While I have no vote in the proposals put forth but do have
an opinion on matters Luders; I applaud Bill Eacho's nomination of
Sturgis Haskins to serve as Class Captain. Sturgis is indeed the mover
and shaker of the L-16 fleets in Maine. As to Mr. Eacho's proposal to
have have the L-16 Internationals on Mt. Desert Island. I might be able
to pursuade Jack Luders (son of Bill) to attend and represent the Luders
family.
There has even been some discussion up here to see if some new boats
could get built for the occasion.
Needless to say, I will be willing to do what ever I am called upon to
do in the promotion of the event.
