<DIV>To all:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I've recently purchased L-16 hull #210 and am sailing her ("Pearl") out of West River on the Chesapeake Bay.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The boat was wonderfully restored in 1995; however, there are a few changes that were made to the rigging that are questionable. In particular, I am curious how other owners are handling four things:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>1. With a wooden mast, how have people rigged the turning blocks for halyards at the base of the mast? My boat currently has Harken cheek blocks stacked on the side of the mast but I don't like it as (1.) they prevent me from using a boom vang and (2.) they seem to hold water between them and the wood mast -- not good.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>2. My boat has only one jib lead track along the toe rail. Does anyone have a second inside/forward track and, if so, what is it's rough position?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>3. I have the original spinnaker and a beautiful wooden pole, but there is no rigging for the spin sheets. How/where have owners places gear to handle the spin sheets?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>4. Does anyone use an adjustable back stay on a wooden mast? If so, how's it rigged?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Lastly, I'd be interested in traveling to Chicago or Maine to crew during a L-16 regatta if anyone needs help. Please contact me at <A href="mailto:GPBsail@aol.com">GPBsail@aol.com</A>.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I know this is a lot....any help would be appreciated.</DIV>
